David Haccoun and Nessim Bodokh pool their skills to create Dane-Elec to specialize in the production of alarm systems and the purchase and resale of electronic components.
 
The company specializes in the distribution of memory modules.
 
First commercial partnership with OKI, a major Japanese maker of memory modules. Within a year, Dane-Elec has become its leading European distributor.
 
The business goes international with the creation of subsidiaries in Belgium, Great Britain, Germany and Holland. New agreements with major memory producers Siemens and Samsung.
 
INTERVALLE SA is created, specializing in the distribution of network communication and telecoms equipment. New international agreements with major memory makers Hitachi, Hyundai, and Toshiba.
 
  • Start-up of the memory module assembly plant in Galway, Ireland.
  • A sales subsidiary is opened in the United States.
  • New strategic agreements with Goldstar and Micron.

 
The company is admitted to the Second Marche of the Paris stock market.
 
A new assembly plant opens in Irvine in the United States.
