FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DANE-ELEC IS CMTL GOLD REGISTERED Irvine, CA., September 14, 2000 -- Dane-Elec, a worldwide memory manufacturer announced today that it is a CMTL (Computer Memory Labs), Gold registered memory module manufacturer. CMTL (Computer Memory Tested Labs) is the industry standard for memory module compatibility testing. In order to pass these stringent standards, memory modules must maintain the highest manufacturing procedures and pass an exacting battery of tests. Testing is performed with equipment and procedures defined by each desktop, server and workstation manufacturer. A memory module certified by CMTL means it works reliably on the tested motherboard or system. To qualify for CMTL’s Gold certification, the manufacturer must build 75% in-house, be ISO 9000 compliant, commit to have modules Advanced Qualified on all current and future Intel desktop, workstation and server platforms. "We are proud to be the first memory module manufacturer to obtain the Gold Certification from CMTL." said Adrian Proctor, General Manager at Dane-Elec. "Finally, there is now a program that enables Intel clients to identify the quality of a module by it’s PCB and manufacturing, not just by Dram of manufacturer’s name." Said Michel Hassan, General Manager at Dane-Elec.
