DANE-ELEC IS FIRST TO RELEASE 512MB MEMORY MODULE FOR THE NEW APPLE TITANIUM NOTEBOOK Irvine, CA., April 18, 2001 -- Dane-Elec Corporation, USA, a worldwide memory manufacturer, today announces immediate availability of a 512MB module to support the new Apple Titanium Notebook. Dane-Elec is the first company to release a 512MB SODIMM that works in the top slot of the Apple PowerBook Notebook . The machine currently ships with 256MB but with the 512MB module, one is able to reach a total system capacity of 768MB. The PowerBook G4 Titanium is powered by a PowerPC G4 processor with Velocity Engine. The Titanium was introduced at Macworld Expo in San Francisco in January 2001. "We always strive to be first to market with high capacity and low profile modules, " said Adrian Proctor, General Manager, Dane-Elec Corporation. Dane-Elec’s new 512MB module for the Apple Titanium PowerBook Notebook can be purchased through resellers and system intergrators.
