DANE-ELEC IS FIRST TO RELEASE 512MB MEMORY MODULE FOR THE NEW APPLE TITANIUM NOTEBOOK

Irvine, CA., April 18, 2001 -- Dane-Elec Corporation, USA, a worldwide memory manufacturer, today announces immediate availability of a 512MB module to support the new Apple Titanium Notebook. Dane-Elec is the first company to release a 512MB SODIMM that works in the top slot of the Apple PowerBook Notebook .

The machine currently ships with 256MB but with the 512MB module, one is able to reach a total system capacity of 768MB. The PowerBook G4 Titanium is powered by a PowerPC G4 processor with Velocity Engine. The Titanium was introduced at Macworld Expo in San Francisco in January 2001.
