This new, faster MultiMediaCard from Dane-Elec answers the continuous demand for cards with greater memory capacities. The size of a postage stamp and extremely lightweight, Dane-Elec's 64Mb MultiMediaCard offers faster download times and bigger storage capabilities. Capable of operating in severe environmental conditions, this removable card is the ideal storage solution for applications such as digital cameras, PDA's, MP3 players, mobile phones and other portable devices. "The demand for higher capacity memory cards is increasing alongside developments in the technologies of the data-networking and mobile fields," says Jonathan Heasman, Flash Product Manager, Dane-Elec (UK) Ltd. "We are one of the first UK Manufacturer's to bring the 64Mb MultiMediaCard to the UK market, and this represents our continued dedication to delivering the memory market's best solutions." MMC is the new standard in data storage, taking Flash and ROM technology even further through delivering removable solid state storage to portable communications devices. Under a continuing partnership with Hitachi, Dane-Elec will continue to distribute the Hitachi range of MultiMediaCards as well as MMC Card readers. Heasman comments, "Through its strong partnership with Hitachi, Dane-Elec is able to meet the ever-changing market requirements, with a complete line of memory cards, based on the industry-proven Flash solution." Dane-Elec's highly sophisticated production plant enables speedy turnaround, from order placement to delivery, of large volumes of high quality finished product.
